A little fried chicken hospitality from the American South is coming to London. Chick-fil-A, famous for its chicken sandwiches and past controversies, will open its first London restaurant in the Wonderland and Wharncliffe Streets area on Thursday, its 13th restaurant in Canada in the year. the scene expands north of the border. “Bringing Chick-fil-A to London is a truly remarkable opportunity,” said new franchise owner and operator Josh Huesser. “With so many new guests, we look forward to sharing the flavorful dishes and exceptional hospitality that Chick-fil-A is known for.”
To celebrate its grand opening, Chick-fil-A will donate $25,000 to Second Harvest, Canada’s largest food rescue organization. A statement from the restaurant said the London restaurant will also ensure that surplus food does not go to waste but will go to local shelters, food banks, and non-profit organizations. to help feed those in need.
